A Pre-K student in Bainbridge gets the surprise of a lifetime when her dad surprises her at school by coming home from Afghanistan for the holidays.
Bainbridge Public Safety helped put on a special reunion at Elcan-King Elementary for 4 year old Jayla Orange.
Her dad, Specialist Charles Orange, waited in the hallway, while Santa went in to see the children. That's when he came in and surprised her!
Friends and family lined the school's hallways, to greet Specialist Orange when they heard about his special reunion.
Tonight, Specialist Orange and Jayla rode in Santa’s fire truck as honored guests in the Bainbridge Christmas Parade.
