WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A social media threat of violence made to Wakulla High School led to an investigation and heavy police presence Tuesday.
The Wakulla County School Board says they received the information late Monday afternoon.
Investigation was started immediately by the high school administrators and school resource officer.
Officials uncovered no evidence to show a threat. As a precaution, the Sheriff's Office has deputies at the school to ensure the safety of the students.
The school board says they are continuing to monitor the situation.
