TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--The FAMU Board of Trustees approves the addition of six new degree programs.
Students can choose from bachelor in science degrees in physical education and teacher education, as well as a bachelor of science in health, leisure, and fitness studies.
The university is also adding both bachelor of science and bachelor of arts degrees for interdisciplinary studies.
Students will also be able to attain a bachelor of arts in environmental studies.
All six programs will officially launch in time for the 2014 fall semester.
