THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) - Six people are in custody for several strings of property crime in Thomasville, but police say several remain on the streets.
Over the weekend Thomasville Police arrested Travis Larry in connection to a burglary on Parkway Drive. Police found him when they say he dropped off stolen property and came back to check on it.
Larry is now charged with burglary.
"We recovered the property, as we were recovering the property the suspect drove by in the same vehicle," said Capt. Maurice Holmes with the Thomasville Police Department. "We were able to get him stopped and arrested."
Police say this arrest is the result of neighbors paying attention to suspicious activity in the area. Police believe at least two others were involved in the theft but officers say they ran from the scene.
