(CNN) - Singer Aaron Carter has been arrested for suspected drunk driving.
Deputies say he was pulled over in about 90-miles north of Atlanta Saturday night. According to the Habersham County Sheriff's Office, Carter is facing misdemeanor charges of DUI and marijuana possession.
His girlfriend, Madison Parker, was with him. She is facing obstruction and drug charges.
Carter is a former child star, best known for his album "Aaron's Party - Come and Get It" and his hit single "I Want Candy." His social media accounts say he still plans a meet-and-greet with fans in Birmingham, Alabama, on Tuesday.
