GADSDEN Co., Fla., (WTXL) -- Charges are pending after Gadsden County Deputies found a shotgun and significant amount of "Molly" in a crashed vehicle.
Obrien T. Dubose, 29, of Quincy, was driving well above the speed limit on Saturday trying to flee from the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Dubose was traveling westbound on Atlanta Street when he blew through a stop sign at Ben Bostick Road. The front of his BMW hit a large tree, causing the vehicle to turn over on it's driver's side. The car quickly caught fire and was engulfed in flames.
Dubose was able to get out of the vehicle and then fled on foot before any first responders were able to arrive.
Deputies said during the investigation they found a shotgun and "Molly" in the vehicle.
