TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Sharks and Chablis, a wine-tasting fundraiser, is coming to Gulf Specimen Marine Laboratory on Sunday, May 19.
Gulf Specimen Marine Laboratory is holding the event at their facilities in Panacea, Florida. The benefit will honor the organization's founder, Anne Rudloe, and a newly remodeled wing will be named after her.
The cost to attend is $35 per ticket. The benefit begins at 2 p.m. and will last until 7 p.m. In addition to a wine tasting, there will also be a seafood dinner.
Gulf Specimen Marine Laboratory is a nonprofit dedicated to marine research and education. In addition to having an anchored aquarium in Wakulla County, they also have a mobile lab that brings the sea to the students by teaching them through a hands-on approach.
