HIGHLANDS CO., FL (WWSB) – A convicted sex offender is on the loose after cutting off his ankle monitor.
On July 31, the Highlands County Sheriff’s Office reported 46-year-old Gary Lee Ebersole to be on the loose. He was going to be arrested for violation of probation.
He was last seen in Sebring at a Citgo, where he cut off his ankle monitor.
Ebersole is 5-foot-10 and about 160 pounds.
Deputies are working to find him. If you see him they ask that you provide a tip on this website.
