TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A registered sex offender was arrested after being accused of exposing himself at a Tallahassee store.

Joseph Baker, 50, was identified by the victim as the person who exposed himself to her at the Good Samaritan Super Thrift Store, 2810 Shared Road, on March 1, 2018.

He was arrested on a charge of indecent exposure in public on Wednesday and remained in the Leon County Detention Center on Thursday on a $1,000 bond.

Baker walked up to the victim in the shoe section of the store, committed the act and went to another part of the store, according to a probable cause affidavit.

The victim told the store manager, who suspected Baker because Baker was on duty at the time. Baker denied to the store manager that he had exposed himself and said he was only adjusting his pants.

Baker is on supervised conditional release through the Florida Department of Corrections and is required to wear a GPS ankle monitor.

The ankle monitor provided the Leon County Sheriff's Office investigator the information about Baker's location.
