Tallahassee, Fla. (WTXL) -- A Tampa boy was abducted and put on a bus headed to Texas with a sexual offender.
The Minnesota offender met the boy online and tried to get away on Tuesday. However, Tallahassee patrol officers, along with Florida Highway Patrol were able to stop the bus in Tallahassee.
The child was recovered safely and the sexual offender has been arrested.
The Tallahassee Police Department would like to remind everyone to always be aware of what their children are doing online. "As technology evolves, the opportunity for bad guys to prey on children evolves as well."
