TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Both the City of Tallahassee and Talquin Electric reported several outages Friday night.
11:30 P.M. update:
The City of Tallahassee says power has been restored to the Capital Circle Northeast and Miccosukee areas.
231 Talquin customers are without power: most are in Leon County and less than 10 in Wakulla and Gadsden counties.
10:00 P.M. update:
The City of Tallahassee is reporting 1,834 outages in the following areas: Miccosukee, Capital Circle Northeast, Lonnbladh, Eddie, Laurelwood, Care, and Centre Pointe Area. This is as of their 8 p.m. update. They have not yet announced if the area has been restored.
Downed wires and tree limbs have been causing outages all evening, specifically near Robinhood and Sharer Road.
Talquin Electric is reporting 622 outages: 604 in Leon, 16 in Wakulla, and two in Gadsden.
Earlier Friday evening, Talquin was reporting almost 1,300 outages.
