TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Seven of the eight people charged in the murder of Hoyt Birge were scheduled to be in court Tuesday morning.
Two of the seven showed up, Patrick Berrane and Jesse Fox, while attorneys represented all seven. They asked the judge for two more months to go over all their material, which includes 1,300 pages of discovery.
The judge agreed to schedule a hearing on January 16th to go over the cases of Berrane, Fox, David Howard, Paige Vowell, Vicki Strickland, Page Briggs and Stanley West.
The eighth suspect, Brittany Guthrie, is due in court on December 15th for her hearing.
