TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The City of Tallahassee's 4th Annual Family First Week is underway.
Various non-profits, guidance counselors and other front line service providers met with local families to talk about topics affecting our community.
At the Provider to Provider event, local providers and residents were able to discuss difficult topics such the opioid crisis and mental health and how they affect the Big Bend.
Organizers say its to educate providers better ways to handle those tough situations.
Family First week will continue until Thursday.
The city will be recognizing businesses which have made an impact on families in the local area at Proof Brewing Company Tuesday evening.
