GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A semi-truck overturned on I-10 in Gadsden County after a car deliberately braked very hard in front of it.
Florida Highway Patrol responded to an accident at or about 4:30 a.m. Sunday at mile marker 176 on I-10.
According to FHP, a semi-truck pulling a trailer was traveling eastbound in the outside lane on I-10.
FHP says an unknown vehicle was traveling in the inside lane, pulled in front of the semi-truck, and "brake checked."
FHP states the driver of the semi-truck tried to swerve around the vehicle, but ran off the roadway causing the semi-truck to spin.
FHP says the driver of the semi-truck tried to counter-steer to regain control, but the truck overturned on its side.
According to FHP, the driver of the semi-truck was not injured in the accident and alcohol did not play a factor in the incident.
