JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Troopers said that a semi-truck's load flipped over and spilled onto a road in Jackson County.

The Florida Highway Patrol said that around 2 p.m. on Monday, 49-year-old Oscar Mejia was driving his semi-truck southbound on U.S. 231 when he began to turn onto Dilmore Road.

During the turn, the semi's load shifted due to it being improperly secured.

Troopers said that the trailer and the load overturned, coming to a final rest in the roadway.

They said that Meija may be charged with dropping a shifting load.
