Security Task Force plans training exercise in Tallahassee

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)-- The North Florida Regional Domestic Security Task Force is planning "Operation Deep Freeze," a training exercise to allow first responders to work alongside staff and community first responder partners to improve their response skills.

The operation will test several components of the force, including the North Florida Fusion eXchange, Urban Search and Rescue, Big Bend Regional Bomb Squad, emergency medical services, fire/hazmat and the Tallahassee Memorial Emergency Center - Northeast.

The exercise will be held at the Innovation Park Complex at 1800 East Paul Dirac Drive. The public is asked not to be alarmed by the increased presence of emergency response vehicles.
