TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)-- America's Second Harvest of the Big Bend receives a generous donation today, just in time for the holiday season.
Today, Gulf Winds Federal Credit Union gave Second Harvest $20,000.
Second Harvest distributes over 6 million pounds of food every year, equaling 7 million meals for those in needs.
On hand today to accept the donation was Second Harvest's CEO Rich English and the organization's board of directors.
