TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Second Harvest of the Big Bend is lending a helping hand by donating food to federal workers affected by the government shutdown.
On Thursday, Second Harvest will pass out food donations to federal workers at the federal prison located at 501 Capital Circle NE.
Officials are urging workers impacted by the shutdown to come out and receive the free food donations.
The time of the distribution is from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and they are planning to have enough food to feed a minimum of at least 350 families.
