MIDWAY, FL - Today is National Save the Eagles Day.
Save the Eagles Day is observe annually on January 10th.
Some species of eagles are on the endangered list.
However due to the work of scientists and the public, the bald eagle was removed from this list in June 2007.
You may have joined the world recently in actively spying in one one eagle family.
Harriet and M-15, two Florida eagles were awaiting two eggs to hatch.
One has hatched so far, at 10 days old now, E-9 continues to grow and be fed by his parents.
So the Sunrise Team checked in on the family, no the second egg did not hatch like they wanted to.
