MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) - It may be a couple weeks away, but the Museum of Florida History is putting on a big celebration for their 35th annual Children's Day: Celebrating History through the Decades.
This popular event offers an array of performances, activities, and history for the whole family.
Visitors can learn about Florida's history from exhibitors like the State's Archaeological Research Lab and Mission San Luis or visitors can explore science with local exhibitors such as MoLab., Inc.
As an added bonus, the Pilot Club will be providing complimentary bicycle helmets fitted to protect our young historians.
The event is scheduled to take place at the Museum of Florida History on Saturday, January 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free and so is parking.
While there may be fees for some activities being offered, the profits will benefit the museum and other community resources for children and families.
