MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) - Samantha Reaves came by Second Cup this Wednesday morning to share details about Backyard Wilderness, a nature documentary that opens soon at the IMAX.
Reaves spoke with WTXL ABC Sunrise Anchor Malcolm Hornsby.
Backyard Wilderness entertains viewers with the unexpected delights of nature that are in our own neighborhoods and communities.
It was created by Emmy Award-winning and Oscar nominated filmmakers Andrew Young and Susan Todd.
Spanning a seasonal year around a suburban home, the film displays a stunning array of unique wildlife imagery and behavior. The action was captured by cameras mounted inside dens and nests and moving along forest floors and pond bottoms.
The film arms explorers of all ages with the tools and inspiration to discover the wonders of nature at their fingertips.
Backyard Wilderness will run from Oct. 19, 2018 through December 31, 2019 at the Imax Theater Challenger Learning Center. Click here for more information.
