SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A body has been found in Suwanee County at the Spirit of the Suwanee Music Park today.
The Suwannee County Sheriff's Office says that the body was discovered by cleanup crews who were cleaning up the remnants of a festival this weekend, 'The Purple Hatters Ball'.
The Sheriff says the body was found floating in the lake inside the park, off of Lake Road near the chapel.
They are waiting on lab crews from Tallahassee to arrive before they are able to remove the body from the lake. As of right now it seems as if the body is a white individual but that is as far as they know right now.
They say the body may be linked to a missing person's case that stemmed from the same festival. Prior to the body's discovery, a woman called saying that an individual she knew did not return from the festival over the weekend.
Investigators are currently on scene.
This is the second body to have been discovered this in Suwannee County over the last few days.
