VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL)--The search for a new Valdosta State University president has been narrowed down to four finalists.
This month each candidate is touring the campus and attending public forums with students and faculty.
VSU's interim president Kelli Brown completed this part of the process earlier this week.
She is a former provost and vice president for academic affairs at Georgia College and State University.
Finalist Richard A. Carvajal is at Valdosta State University right now. He is the interim president at Darton State College and former president of Bainbridge State College.
Monday and Tuesday Christopher G. Maples, the past president of Oregon Institute of Technology, will be in town
Timothy C. Caboni, the vice chancellor for public affairs at the University of Kansas, will be visiting one week from today.
