HAVANA, Fla. (WTXL) - The search for a shooting suspect continues this morning after police say shots were fired at a community event in Havana.
According to authorities, the event near the old Havana Northside High School turned violent when a fight led to the gunshots.
Deputies with the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office called the scene Saturday night "chaotic."
In the crowd of about a thousand people, deputies found Travis Maddox with gunshot wounds and another person, Durella Gaines, who had been hit over the head with a bottle.
Authorities say multiple shell casings were found at the scene.
