TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Gov. Rick Scott said he will not set special elections to replace former Senator Jack Latvala and the late Rep. don Hahnfeldt, leaving the seats open until November.
Scott says he agreed not to hold special elections after talking with supervisors of elections.
Latvala resigned January 5 following an investigation into allegations of sexual harassment.
Hahnfeldt died December 24 following a battle with cancer.
