PANAMA, Fla. (WTXL) - Gov. Rick Scott kicked off his "Make Washington Work" bus tour Sunday.
He started his journey in Panama City.
This comes in an effort to roll out a 10-point plan to reform the "tired" ways of thinking in Washington.
He told WTXL's sister station WMBB Sunday night that there needs to be term limits and the president should have the power to line item veto.
Scott said his plan will benefit families not just in Florida but across the nation.
Scott will face incumbent U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson in November.
