MIAMI (AP) -- Republican Gov. Rick Scott and Republican-turned-Democrat former Gov. Charlie Crist are making their last campaign pitches before Election Day.

Crist's focus Monday will be on the three South Florida counties with the state's most Democratic voters in€” Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach, before ending the day with an Orlando rally featuring former President Bill Clinton.

Scott will campaign with Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and Texas Gov. Rick Perry along the I-4 corridor. Scott plans stops in Clearwater, Plant City, Lakeland, The Villages and Orlando.

About 3 million votes have already been cast after early voting ended this weekend. Polls show the race is close after the candidates, their political committees and their parties have combined to spend more than $100 million. Scott has about a 2-to-1 spending advantage over Crist.
