JEFFERSON Co. (WTXL) - Two Cedar Heights Elementary schools are providing counselors to help students deal with the loss of two children who died in a Jefferson County car crash on Wednesday.

Benjamin Bartlett and two children Bailey, age 9, and Charles, age 11 died in the Wednesday car crash according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Two other passengers in the car, mother Erin and daughter Kaia, were taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The crash happened after a pick-up truck driving east on I-10 crossed the median and collided with two westbound vehicles says the Highway Patrol.

In a statement from the Cedar Falls School School District, two elementary schools had counselors and staff available Friday to talk with students.
