PARKLAND, Fla. (WTXL) - New 911 calls from Parkland paint a picture of the chaotic scene during February's school shooting.
More calls were released as the suspect, 19-year old Nikolas Cruz, was formally arraigned on murder charges and as thousands of students walked out of school in protest of gun violence.
Cruz, the alleged killer of 17 students and staff at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, came fact to face with parents of the victims on Wednesday.
The newly released 911 calls are shedding more light on the terror students and teachers faced inside the school on February 14.
The Broward County State Attorney is seeking the death penalty for Cruz.
His lawyers say he would plead guilty if the death penalty is off the table.
