TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Meet today's Leon County Sheriff's Office School Resource Officer of the Day: Deputy Jesse Belcher.
Deputy Belcher is being recognized for his work at Woodville Elementary School.
The Gainesville native has only worked in law enforcement for a year and says his favorite part of the job is interacting with the students.
He loves the students so much, Deputy Belcher says that if he wasn't a deputy, he'd be a teacher.
When asked where would he go if he could travel back in time, Deputy Belcher says nowhere: He's happy in the present!
