School Resource Officer of the Day: Deputy Shalanda Scott

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Meet Leon County Sheriff's Office School Resource Officer of the Day: Deputy Shalanda Scott.

 

Scott works at Fairview Middle School and has 3.5 years of law enforcement experience. 

 

Her favorite color is purple, which she says means royalty. Her favorite food is cabbage.

 

If she were not a deputy, she says she might have become a flight attendant.

 

She was born in Tallahassee, and as a child she enjoyed math.

 

Asked if she could travel back in time, where would she go, she said she'd "visit my grandparents when they were younger so I could get to know them better and see what they went through."
