TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Meet today's Leon County Sheriff's Office School Resource Officer of the Day: Deputy Robert Gaines.
Gaines - recognized for his work at Nims Middle School on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017 - has nearly 10 years in law enforcement.
His favorite school subject, "besides lunch," was math and physical education.
If he could go back in time, he says he would have taken up band earlier in middle school.
Away from work, Gaines enjoys video games and television.
