TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Meet today's Leon County Sheriff's Office School Resource Officer of the Day: Deputy Jon "Bubba" Etheridge.
Etheridge - recognized for his work at Lincoln High School on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 - has 30 years in law enforcement.
He describes his favorite part of the job as "Interacting with the students and being able to help kids and parents communicate. I love translating 'teenage language' to mom and dad!"
Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, golfing, boating and being with his wife.
