TALLAHASSEE,Fla. (WTXL) - Meet today's Leon County Sheriff's Office School Resource Officer of the Day: Deputy Brian Hood.
Hood - recognized for his work at Deerlake, Killearn Lakes and Hawks Rise on
Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017 - has five years in law enforcement.
He was inspired to go into law enforcement after going on a ride-along with the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
His favorite movie is The Godfather, favorite superhero is Batman, and favorite food is sushi.
Had he not become a deputy, he says he would have been a teacher, another job like his present one that has him working with kids.
Off duty, he enjoys playing bass guitar, running and DIY projects.
