PERRY, FL (WTXL) - A Taylor County School Bus was involved in a traffic crash Friday afternoon.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol Traffic Crash Report website, the crash happened around 4:15 p.m. at South Red Padgett Rd. and Bryant Russell Road in Perry.
Taylor County Superintendent of Schools Paul Dyal said there were 4 elementary school students on the bus. One female student sustained a small cut on her hand but the bus driver and other students were not injured. All the children were turned over to their parents.
Dyal also said the driver of the second vehicle involved in the accident was flown to the hospital.
WTXL is waiting for more information from the Florida Highway Patrol on the cause of the crash as well as confirmation of the condition of the second vehicle and driver.
