LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Sheriff Walt McNeil held his Sausage with the Sheriff event at Bradley's Country Store.
Guests were able to meet with the Sheriff and deputies just to chat, but also to discuss community issues.
"Just one example of how we can bring communities together around, in this case around sausage," said McNeil. "We can all fellowship and then become friends and become what we like to call a community that's connected which means were all working towards the same goals and outcomes and just a better Leon County, a better Tallahassee."
The Sheriff also said he wants the citizens to understand the community is a big part of what they do and working together helps make Leon County a safer place to live and work.
