SARASOTA, FL (WWSB ) - Officer Jenkins retired after 30 years of service at the Sarasota Police Department.
Jenkins was emotional while he signed off on his final radio call.

"This will be my last transmission on the radio and I would like to thank my SPD family for being by my side," said Officer Jenkins.
At the end of final transmission, Jenkins thanked his officers and began crying.
His heartfelt goodbye is now a viral sensation over the internet.
