BRISTOL, FL (WTXL) - Santa's workshop has made its way to north florida! For the next three weeks in Bristol, residents got to experience the North Pole.
At the Veterans Memorial Railroad, visitors got to take a ride on the Polar Bear Express. They also got to see thousands of Christmas lights, as well as 17 different holiday scenes along the railroad track.
Organizers, like Gloria Keenan, say their hard work, which is volunteer-based, has been successful: "It's really quite exciting. This is a beautiful park. We've worked hard. We have many many volunteers who put many many hours in developing this park, and creating what you see out there is the most artistic and exciting view and image of what their dreams are."
Organizers expect at least four thousand visitors in the next three weeks.
The railroad continues until the 20th. You can find specific times, as well as how to buy tickets, here.
