TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - More than 1,500 people have registered for the Angel Tree program, which gives seniors and kids clothes and toys.

The problem? Around 500 children and 100 seniors still have not had their name picked from the tree.

There are only a few days left for the Salvation Army to collect enough for the 600 people waiting in Leon, Gadsden and Wakulla counties.

You can bring new, unwrapped toys, shoes, or clothes to the Salvation Army office on Allen road.

They're taking donations through Saturday, December 9.
