TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - In Tallahassee the Salvation Army is struggling to raise enough money for the people of Gadsden, Leon and Wakulla counties through the Red Kettle Campaign.

The goal, $200,000, but right now, less than 10 days until Christmas, they're about $90,000 short.

The Salvation Army has been stretched with resources and people, especially after helping the community deal with strong storms both last year and this year.

The Salvation Army started in 1865 and serves nearly 30 million people each year.
