TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Salvation Army is not just filling bellies but filling hearts too.
It's become a tradition of sorts in the Capital City: a pre-Thanksgiving dinner hosted by the Salvation Army. Each year the day before Thanksgiving, the community is invited out to have a traditional holiday meal.
It's expected that about 300 to 500 meals will be served. The meals consist of a traditional Thanksgiving feast from drinks to the turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes, all the way down to the desserts.
Lieutenant Amber Meo with the Salvation Army joined us to tell us more about the event.
