TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - While counting the kettles Saturday, volunteers for the Salvation Army in Tallahassee found a large and unexpected donation.
An anonymous $1,000 donation was in one of the red kettles placed outside a store in the Tallahassee area.
This time of year, volunteers ring bells outside store fronts to collect donations. These donations help to provide services for those in need.
Corps Officer, Lt. Ryan Meo, says they need help more than ever this year.
