TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Leon County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man accused of using craigslist to run a fraud scheme.
Deputies say the Internet is just one of the ways Stephen Brown, 44, would try to sell furniture, electronics and office products. But, Brown is accused of taking people's money with a product order but not providing the purchased items.
Investigators say they believe Brown has also been running similar scams in Alabama and Georgia.
Brown is in the Leon County Jail charged with Grand Theft and four counts of Organized Scheme to Defraud.
