(WTXL) - Parents, school will be in session very soon and we are here to help you tackle your school supply list this upcoming Tax-Free Weekend.

The Florida Department of Revenue says that the 2017 Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday was passed by the Florida Legislature and signed into law by Governor Rick Scott.

Here is what you need to know:

The Tax Free Weekend begins at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, August 4, and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, August 6.

School supplies $15 or less, clothing, footwear and accessories $60 or less, and personal computers or computer-related accessories are all qualified to be tax free.

Sales tax will not be charged on items such as pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, and glue under $15.
