LIVE OAK, Fla. (WTXL) - What was intended to be a peaceful protest turns into struggle between law enforcement and one veteran.

A Facebook video is now going viral showing the arrest a veteran during a protest over the Sabal Trail Pipeline on Saturday. Three protests were held over the weekend calling on leaders and residents to take action and stop the completion of the pipeline. All of this coming just days after the Dakota pipeline project was hauled.

One protest was held in Kissimmee, the other was in Sante Fe, and the third in Live Oak. The Live Oak protest is where water advocates say authorities arrested a veteran for crossing the street during the protest. The name of the man arrested has not been released yet.

Organizers say they're planning future protests. When complete, the Sabal Trail Pipeline will cross through portions of Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.
