TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- One of the inmates that escaped while being transported to Leon County is now back in police custody.
James Banks and Michael Rotunno have been on the run since Monday, after managing to escape from a transport van that made a stop in Walton County on its way to an unscheduled stop at the Leon County Jail.
The Walton County Sheriff's Office confirmed this morning that Banks was arrested after trying to call a cab in Mississippi.
Officials say Rotunno is still on the loose. He was reportedly seen checking into a hotel in Longview, Texas.
