TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Almost 8 weeks ahead of schedule, the roundabout on Old Bainbridge Road has been completed Friday.
The roundabout is located on Old Bainbrige Road at the intersection of Pullen Road and Willamette Road. According to Leon County officials it was constructed to calm and reduce congestion during peak traffic hours.
"As the area along Old Bainbridge Road continues to develop, so has the need for roadway improvements," said Leon County District 3 Commissioner John Dailey.
The final design includes better pedestrian features, an upgraded storm water management facility, and design improvements for the area.
