VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - The South Georgia Medical Center was filled with smoke overnight, after a fire on the roof.
Staff and patients reported the smell of smoke in the south tower around 2:30 a.M.
The Valdosta Fire Department responded and located a smoldering fire.
Patients who were affected relocated to other rooms.
Officials say smoke remained inside the building for several hours but is now clear.
No injuries were reported.
Investigators are working to determine what started the fire.
