Ronald McDonald House Charities Awards Scholarships

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tallahassee has awarded scholarships to 10 graduating high school seniors from north Florida and south Georgia. 

The scholarships total around $40,000. The awards presentation will be held July 18 at 10:30 a.m. at the Ronald McDonald House. The scholarship program helps students afford the education of their dreams.  

Since 2002, the Ronald McDonald House says it's given nearly 200 students $386,000.

Casey Camp, Wakulla High School, Tallahassee Community College

Jasmine Gay, Florida State University School, Florida State University 

Ricarsha Johnson, Thomasville High School, Valdosta State University 

Sharnea Miller, Bainbridge High School, Bainbridge State College 

Sophia Pereda, Marianna High School, Columbia University 

Diana Ramirez Martinez, Graceville High School, University of West Florida
