WINTER PARK, Fla. (AP) — The leader of a liberal arts school in Ohio will be the next president of Rollins College.

The Orlando Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1zSKrIK ) reports 57-year-old Grant Cornwell will become the 15th president of Rollins on July 1. He has led the College of Wooster since 2007. He replaces Lewis Duncan who resigned last year.

Cornwell earned a doctorate degree in philosophy and has advocated the liberal arts education at a time when many educational leaders are pushing fields in science, technology, engineering and math.

College trustee Allan Keen says Cornwell was selected from a field of 110 candidates.

Rollins College has about 3,130 students and a faculty of 219.
